Since 2011 he works in the Direction of Research and Innovation Centre of FEM. He also collaborate with the Head of Centre and Grant Office in creation of international research networks and writing of projects (in particular related to Alpine area). Since July 2016 he is acting as a co-member of the Action Group n. 7 "Connectivity" of Alpine Macro-Region (EUSALP) in behalf of the Autonomous Province of Trento. In 2011 he was coordinator of the PhD Programme of FEM. His experience in the management of education and training activities, started in 2002 when he was involved in the coordination of the Master Course “Managers for Local Sustainable Development” organised by Italian Ministry for Environment and FORMEZ, continued until 2014 within the consortium GMPF and FIRS>T. Since 2017 is the Master-of-Contact of FEM in the EIT Climate-KIC activities and in particular he is the Lead of the project “System and sustainable Approach to virTuous interaction of Urban and Rural LaNdscapes (SATURN)”.

Public Manager, currently Director of the environmental sustainability, strategic assessment and information systems Department at the Directorate General for Environmental Protection of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia. From 2011 to 2015 he was also Director of the Environmental Assessment Department (EIA and SEA). He works for years on environmental issues (climate change, sustainability, GPP), energy (efficiency, public lighting and mobility) and new technologies (information systems and monitoring networks). He has been official of the sardinian forest service for over 12 years, dealing with forest fires and telecommunications. He is vice president of the Cagliari Engineers' Order.
